Alvies online exchange system was very easy to use but it took a month to get the exchange replacement. I had that part done in no time on October 9. The Alvies web return system provided an excellent user experience. I did not get the email with the return label automatically. I emailed and asked about it the next day and they sent it right away. I shipped my boots back on October 13. UPS delivered the return for exchange to Alvies on October 15. I did not hear anything about the reshipment. I emailed on about day 5 and was told to give them 7 - 10 business days to reship. The 10 business days elapsed with no reshipment. I emailed again on October 30, 15 days after Alvies received the boots back. On October 31, I got a notice the reshipment order was input. On November 5 I received a notice my exchange shipped. I received the exchange shipment on October 10. Though the web return system was excellent and easy, the turn arounds for a size exchange was very slow compared to the typical online shopping return and exchange experience that is standard these days. I am happy to report it was worth the wait. I love my new boots.
